Disclosure: Some links e.g. Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course are affiliates, but these are all products/courses/tools I highly recommend. I won’t recommend anything that I haven’t researched well and/or personally used.
Okay, now, the short story: Check the summary box below.
Here’s the detailed version.
Why I Chose Affiliate Marketing Over Other Income Streams as a New Blogger (Skip this if you’re only interested in learning about the course.)
I’m fairly new to blogging so I have no products to sell right now.
Nor do I like crowding my site with ads and end up getting a spammy look for little money that ads bring. I ‘d like to have my readers enjoy an ad-free experience here!
After days and days and days (and days…!) of researching how to monetize my blog, I settled for affiliate marketing as the main strategy I’ll stick to for my blog in the near future. Because:
1. Selling Physical Stuff means:
Lots of time, less profit margin (input!).
I didn’t have any, nor did I have the time, team and a system to prepare, sell and transport one. Not to mention, they take a lot of $ investment.
2. Selling Digital Stuff means:
Lots of time and lots of profit margin.
I didn’t find myself expert enough right in the beginning of my blogging journey in any field to crank one up. Though this income stream is very profitable, and less time consuming, unlike the above option.
3. Selling Services means:
Lots and lots and lots of time and lots of profit margin.
These can be very profitable too. But very time taking. And the net profitability would again be limited because you only have so many hours in a day.
4. Affiliate Marketing means:
Lesser time and lots of profit margin.
This one is by far the least time-consuming and most profitable (if you’re promoting the right stuff in the right way).
Now, I had to do it fast for all the software bills coming up ahead. With all the newbie-ness and the universal lack of time, my wisdom guided me to invest in a worthwhile affiliate marketing training so I can save myself the trial and error period!!
Because when I take in all the FREE info, by noon I can almost see ‘click here’ button on everyone’s forehead! Seriously.
Overall, most of whatever I come across is just too scattered, mindboggling and incomplete nonetheless.
That’s not what Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course is. This Course is Michelle Schroeder’s personal affiliate marketing strategy that walks you through the blog/ social media monetization process into earning $$ when followed down to the T!
Now the nuance is in the last part of the previous sentence. While EXTREMELY powerful in the right hands, it may not necessarily be YOUR lottery ticket.
Top it off with the fact that new serious bloggers are already struggling with so many expenses here and there, you have a potential recipe for disaster!
Michelle and her strategies are just the opposite.
She’s a blogger who earned $130k last month (March 2017) mostly with affiliate marketing. I’ve seen her earning above $100k E.V.E.R.Y S.I.N.G.L.E month!!!
What’s the magic trick?
I haven’t finished my blog setup even. But I DID test the course by conducting a study. And I want to share the results with you.
How I Tested Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course
Initially, I honestly got pulled in completely because of the $139 Rosemarie’s Pinterest Strategy Bonus (which got her from $18/month income to over $22,000/month in 19 months on Pinterest and I was dying to buy it while going through blogger-resources-hoarding-phase) not to say that I wasn’t already sold on Michelle’s reputation and results!
Michelle claimed in the course that even a new blogger can monetize! Whaaattt?? even without much traffic? This intrigued me. And I set off to test this.
I finished reading her course within 24 hours (you don’t have to, neither would that be very easy or wise!) and quickly applied to an affiliate program using her easily comprehensible affiliate marketing tips. And boy, did I earn my first $$ right away! Want to learn the exact steps? Download the action guide below.
With a brand new blog that only had five posts, I haven’t seen newbies earning more than a couple of dollars!!!
…And It Was Only A Pilot Test !!!!
Over time, this course has definitely brought in more money, which I’ll put into an income report soon. Now, I’m not trying to sell you something on sale that I got on full price out of revenge although that would be nice, ha!
I’m sharing the good aspects of something that has proven to be extremely useful to me as a blogger who wants to monetize, and since this beast is on sale for a limited time, I had to write!

My Personal Favorite – How Michelle Contributes
This course is part of my favorite blogging tools list for more than one reason. The best is that Michelle being a giant blogger makes her puny newbie blogger students like myself feel- taken care of!
I experienced Michelle taking a keen interest in helping her students. She always helps more than you ask for. When I sent her a few pins and video I made to promote the course, she took out the time to provide me with extra info about which pins would/wouldn’t work. When I reached out to her and requested to share a pin of mine onto one of her boards if she liked it, she did. Can you imagine how she made me feel at a point where I stood compared to her?
Earning aside, the good feeling was huge!
Note: Please respect other bloggers’ time when/if you reach out.
Some Social Proof
Here are only two of the course reviews as found on her site:
Rosemarie Groner @ BusyBudgeret.com:
“Michelle is unbelievable. I had a decent amount of traffic but struggled with using affiliates wisely. I used to get really overwhelmed with affiliates and would be disappointed when I didn’t see results from the enormous amount of effort I was putting into it.
Michelle was able to quickly identify what needed to be changed and within one month, my income rose 40% and has since quadrupled only 4 months after working with her! My income was $6,469.50 before I talked to Michelle, immediately jumped to $9,362.64 the next month and is now $24,680.25 (four months later) and climbing!
Michelle is my go-to person for step by step affiliate income strategy.”
Chris Peach @ MoneyPeach.com
“I started my blog in March 2015 and didn’t even know what affiliate marketing meant. And….I didn’t do much about it. I think my largest month was around $500 last year and then died down to sometimes only a few bucks per month. It wasn’t my focus, but I didn’t realize I was leaving money on the table, meaning I was losing money every month! I decided to enroll in Michelle’s course, and I quickly noticed I didn’t know a thing when it came to true Affiliate Marketing! No wonder it just ‘wasn’t working for me’…
Results from the first 60 days of taking the course:
I am still nowhere close to implementing everything I’ve learned [from the course], but….My August affiliate income was $1,792.26.
That’s a $1,705 increase since I became a student of Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. So, my investment in the class was worth it!”
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course IS FOR YOU if You:
- Are a new or intermediate blogger who is clueless or not doing well with her affiliate marketing
- Want to monetize online (better than you do with ads) without the hassle of creating products
- Are struggling to drive traffic!
- Want to join the Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Affiliate Program for the course which happens to be selling extremely well since its launch. This course is popular!
Check the chart below to see how much money only her course brought her over time which is a symbol of how much it is in demand. I have derived this data from Making Sense of Cents Monthly Income Reports pages manually.
(That’s apart from the +$100k she earns each month for applying these exact strategies.)
So, now that you see why this course, especially when on sale, is a good investment, plus there are so many other info packed reviews on the course too but here are a few points where you still wouldn’t want to buy it.
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course IS NOT FOR YOU if You:
- Don’t like to learn by reading
- Are already doing very well with affiliate marketing
- Don’t have an online presence (e.g. blog, social media)
- Are tight on the budget
- Hate Bluehost (that’s where she earns most of her above $100k income, although that shouldn’t have anything to do with how YOU earn your affiliate income. I don’t hate it because I’m currently hosted on Bluehost without any serious complaints!)
Now, if you are just not buying it for the hefty price tag, there are a few cheaper options. I have all three of these and each is a gold mine. I don’t know which one to recommend more.
Most of all, when you buy yourself ANY training, respect your invested (hard earned) money enough to follow the advice of those who live it and show results, down to the last word. I tell this myself all the time!
Some Alternatives to Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course:
So if you ask me, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course gives you the best bang for your bucks for the info, bonuses, and exposure it provides you. But even then, if you struggle with issues like having to pay so much, here are some other very good alternatives.
- (not affiliate) Tasha’s Affiliate Marking for Bloggers (ebook $39)
- Rosemarie’s Core Affiliate Strategy ($46)
- (not affiliate) Affiliate Marketing A-Z by Harsh Agarwal ($29.60)
NOTE: The sale price is only applicable to one-time purchase (not the one with two installments!)
Finally, if you have any questions about the course since I’m an insider, please feel free to ask me in the comments below.
